After using the same headshot for 2 years I thought it was probably time to update it, but I’ve been dreading it.
I’m usually the one with her eyes closed, laughing and/or crying, not looking at the camera or worse still RBF (you’ll have to Google that 😉)
If you are like me and freeze when it comes to having your photo taken I have a little tip. Take a short video of yourself. Smile, laugh, make silly faces and then go through the video, frame by frame and pick out a few you are comfortable with.
Headshots are important when you are running an online business, they are a personal touch in an anonymous world. So push your shyness aside and slap on a smile, it’s easier than you think.
