Earlier I started a post about a new design and added a shot of the fabrics ready for pre-washing. As I uploaded the photo I realised I hadn’t resized the image. Back tracked, pushed the wrong button and deleted the whole post.
So, if you are like me, post a lot of photos and videos. Size matters and bigger isn’t always better. Take a look at these 2 photos
One is the original 2.6 MG and the second a downsized version 493 KB. Can you tell the difference? In case you are wondering 1000 KB (Kilobyte) = 1 MG (Megabyte) so that’s a significant space saving.
In this instance downsizing was as easy as sending the image to myself in Messenger and saving back to my photos. You’re welcome 😉 R x
Of course some platforms allow you to edit the quality and size of your images but if they don’t it’s good to know how to do it yourself. Especially handy when you are building a PDF
